Where to buy a radar
Beebom's guide places the Gears Shop at the central market area of your ranch. Go to the gear stall, open its current stock panel and choose the radar that matches the rarity of the egg you want to search for. The shop has limited inventory, so a listed radar may be temporarily unavailable. Read the on-screen price before confirming a purchase; the values below are dated public reports, not a live store feed.
Buying a radar does not claim an egg. It gives you a tool for finding a currently available target in the matching rarity band. You still need a basket slot, a pet that can reach the target, a practiced route home and a free nest. The tool is most useful after those basics are ready.
Six standard tiers and the Infinite Radar pass
| Radar | Reported price | Reported target range | Use limit | Egg rarity tracked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Advanced Radar | $50 | Map target; numeric radius not published | One activation; consumed | Rare |
| Jewel Radar | $3,000 | Map target; numeric radius not published | One activation; consumed | Epic |
| Royal Radar | $20,000 | Map target; numeric radius not published | One activation; consumed | Legendary |
| Magic Radar | $300,000 | Map target; numeric radius not published | One activation; consumed | Mythic |
| Angelic Radar | $7,000,000 | Map target; numeric radius not published | One activation; consumed | Divine |
| Eternal Radar | $30,000,000 | Map target; numeric radius not published | One activation; consumed | Ethereal |
| Infinite Radar (game pass) | 399 Robux | Nearest egg; numeric radius not published | Unlimited use reported | Nearest egg; rarity filter not confirmed |
There is no Common radar in the six-tier standard list. Shop eggs are bought through a separate offer and do not become world targets merely because a radar is active. A rarity radar can point to an eligible egg of its band; it does not promise a particular egg name. Confirm the name at the marker before pickup.
“Range” needs careful wording here. The available guide describes each radar as tracking its egg rarity across the map, but it publishes no number of studs, maximum radius or distance bands by tier. The table therefore records the documented map-target function and marks the numeric radius as unpublished. A displayed arrow or distance reading is live session information; it is not evidence that one radar has a longer measured radius than another.
How to use the radar
- Check Track or the egg catalogue so you know the target name and rarity.
- Buy the matching standard radar at the Gears Shop when it is in stock.
- Open your inventory or hotbar, equip the radar and activate it using the current on-screen control.
- Follow the direction and distance marker. Use known paths around a cliff or cave rather than traveling in a straight line through blocked terrain.
- Read the egg's exact label before pickup, then return to your ranch and complete the hatch.
Beebom reports that a standard radar is consumed on activation, so a second search requires another purchase. A September community radar guide describes roughly five minutes of active guidance; the current game timer is the authority for your session. The reviewed sources do not establish a separate universal cooldown between standard radar activations. Do not confuse the active tracking window with a proven cooldown rule.
There is no standard-radar cooldown value to memorize: after its one activation the item is consumed, and another search needs another unit when the shop has stock. Shop restocking and a radar's active tracking timer are separate things. Use the countdown and prompts shown in your session; the articles reviewed do not establish a universal, exact timer for every update.
Which radar applies to each listed egg?
This table maps the catalogue rarity to the corresponding radar tier. It is a gear selection aid, not a promise that the named egg is currently spawned or that the marker will choose it over another egg of the same rarity. The original 24-row catalogue includes two shop cards without a standard world radar. Solaris appears separately because its live guide is outside that older 24-row reference.

When a radar is worth the cost
At $50, an Advanced Radar is a small gear decision for a player learning Rare eggs. The jump to Magic and Eternal is much larger. Compare the reported one-use price with your current cash, your ability to reach the target and whether you can bring it back. An expensive marker does not recover a failed carry. Learn your route with the location guide, then buy the tracker when its direction can save more time than it costs you to replace.
If several eggs share one rarity, your reason for using a radar should be clear. For a collection entry, read the name at the end of the marker before using a scarce nest slot. For general progression, any reachable egg in that band may be worthwhile, but compare the actual hatch result with your current pet afterward. An egg's reported luck value is not a pet-specific guarantee.
If the radar points somewhere confusing
Pause at a recognizable landmark and inspect the direction marker again. The shortest line on screen may cross a wall, raised cave platform or pond entrance. Walk a known route to the next opening, then recheck. If the marked egg is gone when you arrive, another player may have collected it or the active target may have changed. Read the current Track screen; do not assume an old screenshot describes your server.
Real radar vs fake notifier or Discord claims
A real Ride A Pet radar is an in-game gear item bought from the Gears stall in Rick’s central ranch shop. You can inspect its name, price, rarity target and use prompt inside Roblox. A direction marker that appears after you equip and activate that item is the evidence you should follow. A website, browser extension, executable or Discord bot that promises a private live egg location is a different product; the reviewed sources do not document an official external notifier.
Treat unsolicited “free radar,” guaranteed rare egg, instant spawn, account verification, cookie, password or Robux refund offers as untrusted. Do not paste a Roblox cookie into a tool, install scripts, scan a QR sign-in from a stranger, or give a Discord bot account credentials. To check whether a community announcement is official, enter through the Roblox experience page and follow only the social links listed there. A server name, logo or copied screenshot alone does not prove affiliation. The safe way to verify an egg is to open Ride A Pet and read the in-game Track panel yourself.
If a supposed notifier says its radar works without the game, asks for elevated permissions, or directs you to a lookalike Roblox login, close it and use the built-in Gears Shop instead. The standard item may cost cash and may be out of stock, but those limits are visible in the game and do not require handing access to an outside service.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I buy radars in Ride A Pet?
Open Rick’s Gears Shop at the central ranch market and check its current stock.
How far can each radar detect?
The reviewed guide says radars track targets across the map, but it does not publish a numeric radius for any tier.
Can I use one standard radar more than once?
No. The six standard radar items are reported as one-use and are consumed when activated.
Does a radar find a specific egg name?
It targets an egg rarity band. Confirm the name shown on the egg when you reach the marker.
Is a Discord egg notifier official?
No external notifier is documented in the sources reviewed here. Verify social links from the official Roblox experience page and never share credentials.
Once your target is clear, compare its entry in the egg catalogue or review the Blackhole Egg’s Ethereal route notes, prepare a mount from the pet index, and use theRide A Pet Calculator to estimate repeated hatch odds from an explicitly known probability. The calculator cannot turn a luck label into an unpublished pet chance.
Before purchasing another radar, check whether the first was consumed, whether a tracking timer is still visible and whether the Gears Shop has restocked. These are separate states. The public guides document one-use consumption and active guidance but do not provide a universally verified cooldown schedule. A current in-game countdown is more useful than a claimed timer copied from an older version.
